KRZBRG

After making a bold return with his first full-length album ONAC1D, Mauritian producer and mutewax founder Mutecell delivers a new chapter in his evolving sonic journey: the KRZBRG EP, a six-track dive into raw, hypnotic techno inspired by a defining moment in his life.

Written as a tribute to Kreuzberg, Berlin, where he lived in 2011, the EP captures the vibrant chaos and creative tension of that time. The area's energy left a lasting mark on Mutecell: unpredictable, groovy, and full of edge. That same spirit runs deep through KRZBRG, an eclectic blend of funk, grit, and minimalism, where vibrant grooves meet playful twists, balancing spontaneity with precision.

Musically, the EP travels through a series of tightly crafted moods: from the slow-burning paranoia of "Black Magik" to the dub-saturated "Krisis", the broken weight of "Unbalanced", and the twitchy electro mechanics of "X02-Force". The tracks "Stranded" and "KRZBRG" offer moments of tension and release, anchoring the EP's narrative arc.

Leaner and more direct than ONAC1D, KRZBRG reflects a producer in full control of his craft, pushing forward while honouring the spaces that shaped him. With this release, Mutecell continues to define the voice of mutewax: bold, underground, and globally rooted.
